If you’d like a job that suits your needs and will provide you with a sense of satisfaction, we will do everything in our power to make it happen!
We employ 65 people at the laundry of which 35 are living with a disability. In an average work day, we process almost three tonnes of linen which includes over 6000 items. In peak times this can double. One of our team members Dwayne has worked in the business for over 30 years and we estimate he has handled around 2,541,100 items during his time at the laundry!
Ritchie Latter has worked for EGA in the supported environment for 46 years. During that time he’s been involved in a number of interesting and varied of work contracts including harvesting oysters, bending anode collars for Alcan, cutting steel strips for BHP, painting survey pegs, making rope slings for local mines, cutting and bagging rag, mowing lawns and packing wine.
Our Property Care team clean around 7000 windows each month which are more windows than found in the Empire State Building! Last financial year they washed, mopped or vacuumed floor space equivalent to the size of Sydney Harbour and washed enough client fleet vehicles to fill the carpark at the Sydney Olympic Park.
In the past three years alone the team at our wine packing facility in Weston has packed over 655,000 bottles of wine which is enough to build 110 four bedroom family homes from bottles. That’s enough homes to fill a typical new suburban subdivision including enough bottles left over to build the community centre.
